Ms. Fainshtein's Grade 10 Visual Arts class completed their eggshell mosaic projects, and the results from each student are astounding! A Mosaic is an artistic design where the surface comprises mall pieces of material such as stone, mineral, glass, tile, or shell. When creating the piece, each piece of material is closely set, usually variously coloured to create a pattern, image, or concept.
Ms. Fainshtein's class used pieces of eggshells to create their mosaics while using their creative vision to make a design pattern or image for the project.
