Our new band students in Grade Six and Seven had the opportunity to attend special virtual workshops in September to help get them off to a solid start. Despite physical distancing, we were still determined to have the event and found guest clinicians who were up for the challenge of presenting over Zoom. Workshops included lessons on flute, trumpet, percussion, trombone, baritone horn, saxophone, clarinet and french horn. It was a great opportunity for the students to have such highly regarded professional musicians work with them for their first playing experiences.
