Athletics: ACIS Basketball Tournament Recap

Grammar had five different teams competing in the annual ACIS basketball tournament from January 16-18. The tournament takes place in four different gymnasiums with five different divisions.

Our Jr. Girls "A" and "B" teams were competing at Armbrae Academy. Both of our teams proudly represented the school and finished with 1-2 records in the round robin. Thank you to our senior school student coaches who worked with the B team: Cedric Jegede, Emily Patterson, and Eric Liu.

Jr. Girls "B" Team

Our Jr. Boys "A" team competed at Sacred Heart and finished with a 2-1 record, losing a close game to Truro Junior High School (65-63). There was no winner declared in this division as Truro could not attend the tournament on Friday due to weather conditions.

In the Grammar gymnasium, our Jr. Boys "B" team played and went 4-0 to win their division. Thank you to Ethan Marshall Harris, Oscar Brown, and Lydell Husbands for coaching this team to victory.
