ACIS Basketball Tournament

Grammar was pleased to host the ACIS Basketball Tournament along with other participating schools from January 16-18. Click here to read about the results of Grammar teams.

Middle School Science Fair

Our Middle School students presented their research projects at the Middle School Science Fair on January 29. Congratulations to all on insightful presentations to judges and a job well done!

Prep School Talent Show

On Thursday, January 30, some of our Prep School students performed as part of the Prep School Talent Show! Our students displayed a wide variety of talents and courage to take to the stage in front of a large crowd in our multi-purpose room. Bravo! The second instalment of the Prep School Talent Show will take place March 27.

World Language and Culture Day

We once again celebrated World Language and Culture Day in a big way, thanks to the teamwork and support of our Grammar community! Prep school students enjoyed travelling from region to region with their passports, learning traditions from different cultures and food from different areas throughout the world. Once lunchtime arrived, the Middle School hallway was filled with tables and tables of dishes from many regions. This is always a favourite event for middle school students as they pay $5 to fill up a plate with as much food as they'd like in order to try out different types of food and flavours. Our Senior School students even had a potluck lunch this year that featured jollof rice from Nigeria and a marquesa dish from Venezuela, with all proceeds also going to Feed Nova Scotia. Click here to see how much we raised for Feed Nova Scotia!

Special thank you goes out to Farah Selim, Zainab Abidali and Ismat Ali, in addition to many other parents volunteers, for helping make this day a success!
