The Board of Governors afforded much of its time this year to the substantive work required to develop the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan, which was unanimously approved on May 15, 2019, and presented to the community at the May 21, 2019, Annual General Meeting.
This plan drew from the input of all community members – students, parents, alumni, teachers, and staff – and involved significant time and effort on the part of board members. The Board now looks forward to supporting the Headmaster in its implementation.
As well, the Board looks forward to supporting the Headmaster and his administrative team as they undertake the substantial work required for the upcoming Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) internal review in anticipation of the external CAIS review in the fall of 2020.
The Board would also like to express its gratitude for the considerable time and effort given by two departing board members Anila Najaf and Erica Green. And it looks forward to the addition of two incoming Board members Ian Thompson and Rhiannon Davies.
Finally, the Board would like to wish all community members a relaxing and rewarding summer break.
